Pools and positions
Opening your own position, fees and impermanent loss.
Your positions, your fees
The SPY, NVDA, TSLA and GOOGL pools are existing stock / USDG markets on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can add liquidity to them, and the protocol holding a position in one changes nothing about that. Your position is an NFT in your own wallet; the protocol never holds it and cannot move it, and the fees it earns are yours to collect at any time. They never enter the holder pot, and they never reach the protocol's fee wallet. A basket of up to 4 stocks is paid whether or not you hold a position; the two are unrelated.
This site opens, withdraws and collects positions on Uniswap v3 markets. A Uniswap v4 market is a different contract and a different flow, and that flow is not built here yet: the pool page for one says so and points at a front end that does handle it. Nothing stops you providing liquidity there; it just does not happen on this site.
What a deposit needs
- 1Both sidesA deposit funds both sides of the pair from your wallet, the stock token and USDG, in the ratio the pool's price sets at that moment. Editing one side fills the other. USDG carries 6 decimals, not eighteen, so every amount on this site is shown and sent at that precision.
- 2Two approvalsEach side needs one ERC-20 approval to the position manager, for the exact amount, before its first deposit. Each approval is its own wallet signature.
- 3ReviewThe review shows the exact amounts of both sides at full precision, the spender, the recipient (you), the slippage bound and the expiry before your wallet is asked to sign.
- 4MintThe position manager mints the NFT to your wallet. Gas is paid in ETH. The quoted pair holds for sixty seconds; a slower approval asks for a fresh quote.
Withdraw and collect
- Collect fees takes the fees a position has earned, in both tokens, and leaves the principal in place.
- Withdraw takes a share of the principal, 25 to 100 percent, and collects the fees in the same transaction. The minimums are one percent under the expected amounts; below that the transaction reverts and you keep your position.
- Pausing new deposits on a market never stops you managing a position you already hold, through this site or through the position manager directly.
Fee APR, and what it excludes
The one rate on this site is the fee APR on a pool page: trailing trading fees over pool value, measured from the pool’s own fee counters over the last day and annualised. It excludes impermanent loss. A position’s value moves with both prices, and against a stock that moves, the pool can hold less value than the two sides would have held separately. Nothing here forecasts anything.
Pool value is priced from each pool’s own deepest route, and a route whose price does not hold at fifty times the probe is not trusted: the figure is withheld rather than inflated.
Before the protocol takes a position
Every pool listed on this site exists and trades now, so its depth, its fees and its fee tier are read and shown from the first day, and you can deposit, withdraw and collect in any of them.
What can be missing is the protocol’s own position. Until the liquidity leg opens one, the protocol figures on a pool page read as a dash with "no position yet" beside them. That is a statement about the protocol, not about the pool.
